Candace Marie Smith

I'm Candace Marie Smith — songwriter, lyricist, and producer working under the name UnHuman. I've spent years transforming raw emotion into language, and language into music.

My debut album, Cosmic Cry, is a 14-track cinematic journey from existential void to earthly rebirth, built entirely from my own poetry.

I'm also the founder of K.I.N.D Day, held every May 4th — a day I started to bring people together around kindness, and one I've been proud to celebrate alongside friends doing real good in the world.

I've personally celebrated K.I.N.D Day with the team at Penner Ministries in Uganda — friends I met years ago when they were known as Penner Childcare. They now grow and roast coffee to help elevate lives out of generational poverty, and I'm hoping to work with them again and support what they're building.
